Both businesses, audited every year.

Neither CentreStage Performing Arts Academy nor Elevate Technology Solutions is required by law to engage an independent auditor at their current size. David asks for one anyway — every year, both businesses, the full set of accounts. By personal choice, and a long-standing one.

01 · The auditor

An independent CPA registered in Victoria.

The auditor is a Victorian-registered CPA firm engaged on an arm's-length basis. Their name and registration number are published in the audit report. They have no other commercial relationship with David Greenwood, CentreStage, or Elevate.

02 · The scope

The full set of accounts, both businesses.

Profit & loss. Balance sheet. Statement of cash flows. Notes to the accounts. Related-party transactions. Director's drawings and loans. Nothing carved out, nothing "summary" — the same scope a publicly listed company submits to.

Full audit, not a review engagement.

03 · The cadence

Annually, within four months of year-end.

The audit is completed within four months of each financial year's close. The signed report is shared with the boards of both businesses and, on request, with any media outlet covering David's political work — or any voter who asks.

Year-end: 30 June. Report by: 31 October.

02 / The pledge

Signed, dated, binding.

The text below is the binding commitment David Greenwood OAM holds himself to — in writing, signed, dated, and visible on this page for the life of the website. If it ever changes, the change will be dated in the version history below, and the prior text preserved.

The Greenwood pledge · v1.0

I, David Greenwood OAM, commit to the following, in writing, for the duration of any political endeavour I undertake:

I will not accept any donation, sponsorship, payment, advertising rebate, in-kind contribution, hospitality, gift, or favour from any individual, business, association, party, lobby, or organisation in exchange for — or in expectation of — political support, advocacy, vote, or goodwill from me, now or in the future.
I will publish, in full, every dollar spent on my political activity, line-itemed by date, supplier, item and amount, within seven days of bank reconciliation, on the page you are reading now.
I will submit both my businesses — CentreStage Performing Arts Academy and Elevate Technology Solutions — to an annual independent audit, by personal choice, even where no statutory obligation exists.
I will declare, in the conflicts-of-interest register below, every commercial, family, board, and membership relationship that could reasonably be considered relevant to a vote or decision I take in public office.
I will name myself on every authorising statement, every printed pamphlet, every email, every advertisement, and accept full personal responsibility for them.

This pledge is binding for as long as I hold or seek any elected position. It cannot be edited retrospectively. Any future amendment will appear below this signature, dated.

What might look like a conflict.

Every commercial relationship, board seat, membership, and family interest that could reasonably appear as a conflict — listed here so a journalist, an opponent, or a curious voter can see it without asking. If you can think of one I've missed, please write to me.

Business — own CentreStage Performing Arts Academy — founder and Managing Director since 2010. Receives no public funding from City of Greater Geelong for ongoing operations. Has applied for, and on two occasions received, project-specific arts grants from the State Government of Victoria — public record, on the VEC arts grant register. Ongoing

Business — own Elevate Technology Solutions Pty Ltd — owner. Provides IT services to private clients in Geelong, including small businesses, community organisations and a small number of schools. No contracts held with City of Greater Geelong as of this writing. If a council tender is ever pursued, Elevate will recuse itself from any decision-making role I hold. Ongoing

Property Residential property in Lara — primary residence, held with partner Brett. Commercial lease at Unit 2, 255 Hamilton Highway, Fyansford — the campaign office, tenanted from an arm's-length commercial landlord. Ongoing

Board / membership Member: Geelong Chamber of Commerce, Media Entertainment & Arts Alliance (MEAA), Music Theatre Guild of Victoria, Australian Entertainers' Agents Association. Premium Partner (via CentreStage): Geelong & Bellarine Tourism. Ongoing

Family No immediate family member holds a paid role at, board seat with, or commercial relationship with the City of Greater Geelong, any council contractor, or any party with a known interest in a vote I would take as a councillor. Current

Party affiliation None. David Greenwood is running, and standing, as an independent. He has never been a member of any political party. He has never accepted funding, training, materials or candidate support from any party machine. Permanent

04 / Data & privacy

What we collect, what we don't.

The campaign collects the minimum personal information needed to do its job — and uses it only for that. No tracking pixels, no third-party advertising, no resale, no "list-building" with people who haven't asked. Plain English version below; the legal version is on request.

We collect

Your name, email, suburb, and what you wrote.

Whatever you put into the contact form. Stored on a single Australian-hosted database. Accessed only by David and one volunteer office manager. Deleted on request.

We don't collect

No analytics, no tracking, no cookies.

This website does not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any other behavioural tracking. It sets no third-party cookies. There is no advertising network attached to it.

We never share

Your details stay with us, full stop.

Lists are never sold, swapped, traded, given to a party, or shared with another candidate. Newsletter and contact-form data is used only to reply to you and, with consent, to send the fortnightly Lara letter.
